Subject: Results of the clinical study done on 14 patients taking Milagro de la Selva tea.
Dear Dr. Ruiz: As you well know, in the third quarter of 2005 we tested the efficacy of the Milagro de la Selva tea on 14 patients with high levels of cholesterol and high levels of triglycerides. This was a pilot mini-study, without a control group. To our surprise, Total cholesterol levels dropped more than 40 mg/dl average per patient, and triglyceride levels dropped 35 mg/dl average per patient. This study was conducted over a 2-month period.
It is important to note that there were no undesirable side-effects. All patients reported that they felt better, more energetic, and enjoyed an over-all improved well-being. I feel that these results are very promising and merit a more comprehensive study with a control group. Milagro de la Selva tea can be used as an alternative to traditional medications that have undesirable side-effects.
Let me know when we can begin a more comprehensive study with a control group.
Sincerely,
Nery Flores MD
